The HiveIQ Three-Story Beehive Kit is a complete, insulated polystyrene hive setup designed for beekeepers wanting to establish or expand a productive colony.

We are proud to use HiveIQ equipment in our own apiary and have chosen it over and over again for its insulation, durability and practical design, making it particularly well suited to the cold winters of the Canberra and Queanbeyan region. Moulded from high-density polystyrene, the hive provides excellent insulation to help reduce heat loss in winter and heat gain in summer.

The kit includes:

• Three full-depth hive bodies
• Hive base
• Queen excluder
• Metal-covered hive lid
• Varroa board
• Hive strap

Each box holds up to 9 standard Langstroth frames and is compatible with regular Langstroth frames and foundation. The kit is supplied flat-packed, making the components easy to transport and assemble. The durable design includes a ventilated hive floor, blanking plate and protective edges to help guard against pests, debris and hive-tool damage.

Please note: Frames and foundation are optional. The exterior must be painted with a water-based, exterior-grade house paint to protect the polystyrene from UV damage.

$315.00 + GST

We can assemble and paint the hive for an additional $200.
